The Camp Sherman area is known as a birding portal. From Black Butte Resort, you can take the Oregon Cascades Birding trail and search for the elusive white headed woodpecker as well as many other beautiful and diverse bird species. Birding trails are self guided auto tours that highlight selected sites for observing birds. While in the area, take some time to view the birds and other wildlife in their natural habitat. Not only is there an abundance of wildlife, but Black Butte Resort offers beautiful mountain views as well as seasonal carpets of wildflowers and rugged volcanic peaks.

Six secluded units, reminiscent of an old-fashioned Bunkhouse, offer our guests solitude and comfort in the shadow of Black Butte. The motel offers a choice of king size or two double beds. Select rooms have full kitchenettes and all rooms have hide-a-beds, refrigerators, and coffee makers. Both the motel and RV park have picnic tables and barbecues available to our guests.

Meticulously maintained park grounds include manicured  lawns, colorful annuals, stately Ponderosa pines, Douglas firs and shimmering, "quaking" Aspen trees. With patios, picnic areas, volleyball, horseshoes and play areas,  the RV park is a perfect place for a get away or for a get together. Our park features private rest rooms, showers, fire pits and Laundromat.  Gathering Room available for groups or just plain visiting.
